- It is FREE to Busk at the Penticton Farmers Market, but we would like your contact information.
- Busking spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
- Buskers must arrive before 8:30am and application must be filled out before performing.
- Please dress appropriately to face the Public. A neat and clean appearance is most appealing; The Market Manager reserve the right to accept each Busker.
- We can accommodate up to 3 Buskers or groups each Saturday, unless by special arrangement with the Market Manager. Please space yourself accordingly (not near other Buskers).
- Buskers are asked to move themselves each ½ hour. Busking sets will be 30 minutes long, At the end of each Busking set, please rotate NORTH (towards the lake) to a new Busking location. The Busker at the north end of the market will proceed to the south end.
- Please ask the neighboring vendors if they would mind if you busk next to them. Some of our vendors have hearing conditions that make it awkward for them to have the music too close. Please respect this.
- Buskers should be aware that they are attending the Market to provide music, entertainment and to collect cash donations. They are not permitted to make sales or promote any other causes. ie. No sales of produce or other materials. Cd’s of your music are fine to sell.

The Markets would appreciate if all Buskers would take note of these guidelines and regulate themselves. The Managers reserve the right to speak to any Busker not in compliance, and may ask them to leave, if necessary.
DECLARATION: “I certify that I will Provide Music/ Entertainment for the customers of the Penticton Farmers Market, I agree to read and comply with the Rules and Regulations for Buskers of the Penticton Farmers’ Market Society.
I understand that I am not covered under any Market insurance, and that I am solely responsible for any legal action taken against me as a Busker at the Market.
The above information is certified to be accurate, and if it is found to be otherwise, I agree to accept disciplinary measures as decided by the Society’s Board, including expulsion from the Market without recourse or any refund of monies paid to the Society.”
