VENDOR HANDBOOK 2024
Welcome to the Penticton Farmers’ Market!

ABOUT US:

The Penticton Farmers’ Market Society was founded in 1991 and is an independent non-profit society created with the vision to provide a venue for small-scale farmers to sell their produce directly to customers. Since that time, we have also welcomed food producers and artisan/crafters to our market community.

  • Currently, we have approximately 40-45 member vendors.

  • We strive to maintain a vendor membership of 80 percent farmers and prepared food vendors with 20 percent artisans & crafters.

  • Member vendors who come for the full season have reserved spaces along the 100 block of Main Street.

  • For the 2024 Season - casual vendors can apply through the Main Application portal prior to the start of the market a set fee for a block of market days at a reduced price.

  • Casual vendors who pay prior to the start of the market and are planning on being at the market for the majority of market days may have a reserved space (if available).

  • Casual vendors will be given as much notice as possible on availability of vendor stalls.

  • Farmers who attend for the full season in 2023 may apply for membership in the society if they are in good standing.

GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS:

  • Only products that are made, baked, grown, raised, caught or wild harvested by the approved vendor can be sold at the Penticton Farmers’ Market.

Finally!

The Penticton Farmers’ Market operates only in the 100 block of Main Street in Penticton on Saturdays from 8:30am – 1pm, mid-April through October.

The Penticton Farmers’ Market should not be confused with the Downtown Penticton Association which traditionally operates the Community Market in the 200, 300 and 400 blocks of Main Street and along Front Street.

Check the Downtown Community Market website for dates and times.

The two markets are independent and are governed by separate organizations.
